CEATEC JAPAN 2013 / ITS World Congress 2013 / Tokyo Motor Show 2013
Three-Event Collaboration

Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, Inc. (Chairman: Akio Toyoda) is taking part in a three-way collaboration, taking advantage of the excellent opportunity of three events being held around the same time this fall in Japan: CEATEC Japan, which is a cutting-edge IT and Electronics general show; the ITS World Congress, which will be held in Japan for the first time in nine years; and the Tokyo Motor Show, which is held every other year. By conducting joint PR and symposiums with a shared theme, we will send a message of Japan’s dynamism, bringing together the latest technology that designs safe, reassurance, and environmentally friendly future lifestyles to lead the world.

1. Media Events

1) Photo session at CEATEC JAPAN 2013 opening reception

<October 1 (Tue) 12:27-12:35, Hotel New Otani Makuhari “Tsuru no Ma” banquet room>
*Opening reception is from 12:00 to 13:30.
Akio Toyoda (Chairman of the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, Inc.), Hiroyuki Watanabe (President of ITS Japan), and Norio Sasaki (Chairman of the CEATEC JAPAN Executive Board), the leaders of the three events, will participate in a photo session, and Chairman Toyoda and Chairman Watanabe will give brief speeches.

2) Photo session at the 20th ITS World Congress Tokyo 2013 official event

<October 15 (Tue) 11:25-11:30, West Exhibition Hall 1F Atrium, Tokyo Big Sight>
A photo session with the leaders of the three events will be held.
*They will also participate in the ribbon-cutting ceremony (11:15-11:25) together with guests before the photo session.

2. Three-Event Cooperative Symposiums

Symposiums will be held at each event venue with the shared theme of automated driving.
