The ongoing spread of next-generation vehicles and the establishment of autonomous driving are indispensable factors in finding solutions to environmental and energy issues as well as in bringing about a safe and comfortable motorized society. Setting our sights on 2020 and beyond, we present this symposium on the dissemination of next-generation vehicles and the early adoption of autonomous driving.
